Everest

Nepal Series

Trekking through Nepalese Himalayas en route to Mr. Everest it is inescapable to notice the vast amount of rock and the lack of vegetation.  But as you trek the area it is also inescapable to notice the warmth and friendliness of the local population.  They offer color against the gray and white landscape. The geological formation of the area is relatively new (10 million years-old) without the benefit of enough time to allow for soil development.  Marine fossils from a long-ago sea are found on Mt. Everest as India keeps pushing northward and under the Asian continental plate raising the Himalayas 10 cm/year.
Using the TrekFit App, users can hike into the rarified air of Nepal and Mt. Everest – without leaving your comfort zone.  This expedition normally takes 2 weeks for trekkers to acclimatize.  The standard trekking routes are followed from one city to another while immersing the viewer in the rugged landscape that steadily leads to Mt. Everest—the Top of the World.

Hawaii Na Pali

Hawaii Na Pali Coast Trek Series

The Na Pali Coast Series provides the first of its kind high-definition immersive video along the spectacular cliffside of Na Pali Coast located in the tropical island of Kauai, Hawaii.

Unlike traditional documentaries or movies, this footage was collected while traveling between 2-3 miles per hour on foot through some of the most rugged terrain on Earth.

Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon Series

Hikers who travel Bryce Canyon National Park enjoy the rock formations creating hoodoos (towering twisted rock formations). These red, pink and orange colorful formations were created by trace amounts of iron and manganese oxides present when the area was desert then an inland sea. The area also experienced volcanoes, earthquakes and uplift. The whole area, including Zion and Grand Canyon, was thrust upward becoming plateaus. Water and wind, freeze and thaw have now sculpted the formations that we see today. Bryce experiences approximately 360 days per year of nighttime freezing and daytime thawing creating fractures in the rock letting water and wind finish the erosion process.

This series includes three treks along the two most popular trails, Queen’s Garden and Rim Trail.

Mount Rainier

Mt. Rainier National Park Series

Mt. Rainier is an active, one million year-old volcano covered with snowfields and boasting the most and largest glaciers in the lower 48 states. The ash and pumice from repeated eruptions now provide the nutrients needed to sustain the dense forests and dazzling wildflowers. Views of Mt. Rainier with snow and glaciers and the wonderland of plants are enhanced by the reflections from the lakes. Waterfalls further enhance your experience. Some waterfalls are soothing and some thunder down the mountains.

The Mt. Rainier series includes several distinct treks, including Paradise trail that reaches near the summit and Grove of the Patriarchs, a less rigorous trek within an old growth forest of grand trees that have stood for hundreds of years.

Hoh River Trail

Hoh Rainforest Series

The Hoh Rainforest, in the Olympic National Park, in Washington State is filled with moss-covered trees that stretch into the sky and millions of ferns. The mostly level path weaves back and forth, occasionally meeting the Hoh River, before reentering the lush rain forest.

The treks in this series explore the first several miles into the magical Hoh River Trail. Enjoy seeing the huge trees, the cascading moss, the birds, Roosevelt elk, and Mount Olympus rising above the broad river valley.

Aruba

Aruba Series

The day and nighttime strolls along the beach of Aruba provide travellers with scenic turquoise blue waters and wind-swept sandy beaches placed among luxurious resorts, palm trees, and tiki huts. Experience a beach vacation without leaving home.

The Aruba series includes two treks, the first during the bustling daytime and the second at evening twilight as sailboats head out for a sunset cruise.

Zion National Park

Zion National Park Series

Zion National Park is undeniably one of the most scenic hiking and backpacking destinations in the United States, as readily accessible trails are set amid massive red canyons, towering cliffs, occasional arches, and lush vegetation fed by tributaries that flow beside many of the treks. Visitors are often amazed at the height of the canyon walls and their changing stone colors that vary as the suns rays hit them at various times of day. In fact, it’s hard to see the same view twice. The canyon’s colors are a great backdrop to the many deer and turkeys that roam unafraid of human observation. TrekFit brings all this to you as you join us walking the trails in this great geological formation created from a vast desert that was compacted from an inland sea creating sandstone, limestone and shale. The area was then thrust up creating plateaus. Canyons were formed by water, wind, ice, and time to create the Zion National Park you see today.

Aspen

Aspen Series

Aspen is, of course, a well-recognized ski destination situated in a remote area of the Rocky Mountains' White River National Forest situated along the Roaring Fork River. In the summer months, the town of Aspen transforms into a spectacular tourist destination for avid hikers, mountain bikers, and other outdoorsmen. The Aspen series provides an introduction to the popular trails, including the famous Maroon Bells and Weller Trail.

Pisgah National Forest
